Kenneth Schweizer, DDS, FICOI
Dr. Schweizer is a native of Long Island, New York, but has spent a portion of his life living with his parents in Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Brazil as a result of his father’s relationship with General Motors. Dr. Schweizer is fluent in both Portuguese and Spanish. Dr. Schweizer and his two sons enthusiastically enjoy the Florida outdoors, fishing, boating, and playing golf.
He attended Syracuse University and Georgia Institute of Technology where he studied Industrial Engineering. In 1982 he began his dental training at Emory University School of Dentistry in Atlanta, Georgia. This led to his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1986. He was singled out to participate in a program involving full-mouth diagnosis and treatment planning related to advanced dental rehabilitation. This highly differentiated program was fully integrated with all dental procedures. As a consequence, Dr. Schweizer graduated with honors and has gone on to attain Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He also holds a patent for a device to make dental injections more comfortable.
Dr. Schweizer is a member of the American Dental Association, Sarasota County Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
